How do you set up the Surf Sheet?
Unpack the sheet and four sandbags from the stuff sack.
Unpack the four sandbags from the stuff sack.
Fill sandbags with beach sand.
Cinch sandbags shut and brush off loose sand.
Place sandbags in the corners of the Surf Sheet and stretch out corners until the four sides pop upright.
Do I have to use the sandbags?
No. The sandbags are provided as a convenience. You can place whatever you want in the corners so long as the item is heavy enough, such as an ice chest, cooler, buckets filled with ice, heavy backpacks, etc.
Is the Surf Sheet Waterproof?
It is water resistant not fully waterproof. The Surf Sheet beach blanket is made from a breathable and durable ripstop nylon that is lightweight and water resistant and won’t let dry sand stick to the material.
We do not recommend filling the Surf Sheet beach blanket with water to use as a pool for kids or pets.
How do you set up the Surf Sheet on land with no sand?
Hollow sleeves on the corners allow a tent stake to slip through for corner support.
